JR United Manufacturing

Our Manufacturing Facilities

To optimize our speed and cost-effectiveness to benefit you, JR United takes a different approach to manufacturing than our competitors, which typically choose their textile factories based solely on the lowest bid.

Our manufacturing plants are located in Central and South America (Guatemala, Costa Rica and Brazil) instead of Asia, which provides two important advantages:

Faster shipping

Transporting finished goods from our factories to the United States by sea takes as little as two days. Shipping goods from China or India requires 30 to 60 days. That means you receive your sheets and towels much more quickly.

Lower costs

Free trade agreements with Central and South American countries allow duty-free imports into the United States. We pass these savings on to you. In contrast, companies that manufacture in Asian countries typically must pay import duties that are added onto the cost of goods.

Consistent quality

Another JR United difference is our high standard of manufacturing quality. Instead of looking for the least-expensive factory to make our sheets and towels, we work with the same teams year after year to achieve consistency, increase organizational knowledge and skills, and implement improvements.

Also, the majority of our raw materials, including cotton and eucalyptus, come from the United States. U.S. agricultural methods, regulations, and measurement technology help to ensure superior quality and consistency.
